ClinPath focuses on clinical decision support rather than attempting to function as a hospital information system, electronic medical record, or pharmaceutical stock management solution. This focused approach allows integration with existing systems while maintaining core functionality.

System Requirements

The application has minimal hardware requirements and operates on budget Android devices. Battery consumption is optimized for extended field use. No expensive hardware is required for deployment.

Offline-first architecture allows operation for extended periods without network connectivity. Data synchronization occurs when network access is available, on a schedule determined by the organization.

Protocol Management

A single application can host multiple clinical workflows, from infant assessments to adult consultations, over specific consultations like STIs. Adding new protocols or updating existing ones requires only a configuration update.

Protocol updates are distributed as data files. No application rebuild is required. New clinical protocols can be deployed to field devices within minutes of approval.
